Dr. Simpson grew up in California, completed her undergraduate degree at Sweet Briar College, then graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  She completed her pediatric residency in at TC Thompson Children's Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she served as chief resident and faculty member.  She joined Lynchburg Pediatrics in 2019.  Dr. Simpson enjoys caring for children of all ages and from all walks of life.  She is particularly interested in caring for children who struggle with mental health, such as body dysmorphia, anxiety, and depression.  She enjoys singing (especially barbershop) and family game nights with her husband and 2 children as well as art such as drawing and painting (you can see some of her work around the new office!)
